0/ Jerk Chicken

Pulse in cuisinart until combined:

  • 1-3 habaneros (Scotch bonnets if you can find them!)
  • 6 scallions, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbl. grated fresh ginger
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbl. fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp. ground allspice
  • 2 tbl dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  •  zest of 1 lime  
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Marinate whole chicken legs or breasts (skin-on, bone-in) in marinade for several hours. Grill on hot grill turning once. Serve with more marinade.
