0/ Apple Cake

Beat until mixture looks like fine sand:

• 6 tbl. unsalted butter softened
• 1 c. flour
• ⅔ c. sugar
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• ¼ tsp. salt
• Dash fresh cardamom + freshly grated nutmeg

Beat in just until mixed: 

• 2 medium eggs
• 2 tbl. heavy cream
• ½ - 1 tsp. vanilla

Spread into a buttered + parchment-lined loaf pan. Arrange neatly ½ thinly sliced apples. Sprinkle with 4-6 tbl. heavy cream and cinnamon sugar.
